Library Resources

The SILA library provides access to resources in a variety of subjects associated with Language, Linguistics, Literacy, Anthropology, Translation, Community Development and related topics. Our collection houses approximately 38,000 print resources.  It also includes scripture and scripture portions in languages from around the world, including historical and rare publications, as well as literacy primers and dictionaries from a wide range of minority languages.

We are proud of our growing collection of resources relating to the languages of Australia’s First Nations’ communities.
